Anne Bretschneider was born in Berlin and studied singing in Berlin and Mailand under Karan Armstrong, Ute Trekel–Burckhardt, Eberhard Büchner und Sonia Turchetta. She additionally took master courses under Christine Schäfer, Krisztina Láki and Siegfried Lorenz. She had a fellowship at “DOMS” - foundation Zurich and gained the “Tertianum sponsorship award for young artists” in the year 2002. In 2005 she won the “BühnenReif-sponsorship award for young singers” at the 2nd international Jan Kiepura singing contest. She nowadays lives as a freelancing singer in Berlin and performs at the residence concerts since June 2007. Martin Schubach - Bassbariton
Bassbaritone Martin Schubach completed his singing studies at the academy for music “Hans Eisler Berlin” under Heinz Reeh and Scot Weir. Beneath singing operas of K. A. Hartmann, D. Milhaud, B. Martinu, A. Mossolow he took part in numerous opera productions in classical roles e.g. at the musical festival Potsdam. He sang exemplarily in Monteverdis “Orfeo” under René Jacobs or “Dido and Aenas” based on the realisation of Sasha Waltz. As a regularly guest Martin Schubach can be seen in several musical productions at the concert house Berlin since 2002 and as soloist at the Berlin Residence Concerts since 2006. Peter Paul – Bariton
Peter Paul was born in Berlin where he completed his studies at the academy of arts under Ks. Prof. Stamm and graduated with a mention. In 1995 he sang the part of Papageno in the chamber opera at Rheinsberg Palace (production of Prof. A. Everding). From 1997 to 1999 P. Paul was member of Halberstadt theatre, from 1999 to 2001 he was engaged to Würzburg theatre and from 2001 to 2004 he sang at the Heidelberg theatre. Since 2004 he is working as a freelancing artist. Guest engagements lead him to Braunschweig, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Cottbus, Essen, Freiburg and to the Wexford Opera Festival in Ireland. He has a marked preference for opera, but P. Paul is also in great demand as a concert and oratory singer. Esther Puzak – Sopran
Born in Berlin the Sopran completed her singing education at the University of Arts in Berlin. By studies and taking part in master courses e.g. under René Jacobs, Krisztina Láki and Axel Bauni she developed her singing skills. Since August 2006 she is a member of the Berlin Residence Orchestra. Furthermore she is regularly booked for engagements in Germany and abroad. Natali Buck - Sopran
Natali Buck was born in Heidelberg and as a pupil she already sang at the Gächinger cantor´s house and at the theatre of her hometown. After she finished her studies of musical pedagogy she changed to the academy of music “Hans Eisler Berlin”. She sang as a soloist e.g. at the theatre Magdeburg, residence theatre Potsdam - Sanssouci, concert house Berlin, the Berlin philharmonics, the Bremer music festival, the international music festival Istanbul and the German Opera Berlin. One focus of her work is the ancient music, thus she had collaborations with outstanding ensembles like Lautten Compagney Berlin, Capella Orlandi Bremen and the Vocalconsort Berlin. Lars Grünwoldt lives as a freelancing concert, oratory and opera singer in Berlin. After completing his studies at the musical universities of Rostock, Hamburg and Berlin he joined the ensembles of the State Opera House “Unter den Linden” Berlin, the State Opera House Hamburg and the State Theatre Braunschweig .Last year he sang the part of the count in Mozart´s “Le nozze di Figaro” at the city theatre Koblenz. His activities lead him through Germany and Europe, like e.g. Luxemburg where he performed the “Liebesgeschichte der schönen Magelone” with Gunther Emmerling within the cultural city year 2007. L. Grünwoldt took several mastercourses e.g. under Thomas Quasthoff, Dietrich Fischer - Dieskau or Tom Krause. Monica Garcia - Albea – Sopran
Soprano Monica Garcia - Albea was born in Boston (USA). In 1996 she gained a fellowship at the New England Conservatory in Boston. There she completed her Bachelor and Master of Vocal Performance degree. At the Bay Area Opera Theatre Institute San Francisco she received an additional fellowship. M. Garcia - Albea won several Awards at competitions and performed as a soloist at concerts in USA, Mexico and Spain. Since a couple of years she is living in Germany. Here she founded the Singing - Piano Duo named “dos” and sang at numerous concerts in Germany and Europe. Nowadays she is a member of the Extra - Choir of the German Opera House and since 2007 as a soloist at the Berlin Residence Concerts. Tadeusz Milewski – Bariton
The Baritone completed his musical studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Opera and concert performances followed exemplarily at the Warschauer Chamber Opera, in Paris and in Tokio e.g. as Aeneas in “Dido and Aeneas“, Ottone in “L`incoronazione die Poppea“, Papageno in the opera “Die Zauberflöte“, as Figaro in “Le nozze di Figaro“ and Dandini in “La Cenerentola“. He worked as soloist at the oratories “Das Weihnachtsoratorium” and the “Matthäus–Passion” of J. S. Bach/, ”Messiah” of G. F. Händel and G. Rossini´s “Petite”. He had guest engagements at the international music festivals in Aix-en Provence, the “Donaufestwochen” at the castle Grein and the baroque festival “Wratislavia Cantans”. Since 2005 he is member of the German Opera Berlin. The Berlin Residence OrchestraDas Ensemble des Berliner Residenz Orchesters wurde exklusiv für die barocke Konzertreihe aus renommierten Orchestern und der exzellenten freischaffenden Musikerszene der Hauptstadt zusammengestellt. The musicians of the Berlin Residence Orchestra were exclusively arranged out of famous orchestras and the excellent freelance musician scene of the capital for the baroque series of concerts. Since the formation in 2006 numerous concerts have been held and a CD respectively a DVD has been produced. Beneath the appearances as ensemble at the Berlin Residence Concerts the musicians of the orchestra excel splendid solo performances. Within the orchestra several chamber music ensembles have been established, performing at exclusive events and enthuse their audience with brilliant concerts. Born in Berlin he completed his studies at the academy of music „Hans Eisler Berlin”. He started his musical career with an engagement at the Brandenburgian Philharmony Potsdam. Additional contracts followed in different German orchestras, like e.g. the philharmonic orchestra of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, several guest performances at the Berlin Symphonics, several years at the “Jeunesses Musicales Weltorchester”, the German Chamber Music Orchestra and at the Chamber Synphonics Berlin. Nowadays he is in demand as a member in many chamber orchestras, also in chamber music ensembles and as an art director of the saloon quintet “Ensemble Esprit Berlin”. Additionally to his role as head of the concerts Sebastian Hotze is furthermore the art director of the Berlin Residence Orchestra since its foundation in the year 2006. Volodymyr Korobov – Konzertmeister
The artistic education of Volodymyr Korobov already started in his early childhood and was completed at the national Tschaikowsky musical academy in Kiew in the year 1996 with the master degree as a musician. Already in 1992 he was member of the ensemble “Kiewer Kamerata”. As of 1992 he played as a soloist in this orchestra in numerous performances in Europe, USA and Mexiko. From 1998 on V. Korobov toured regularly as a member of the trio “ARCO” and the “Duo Cordi” in Germany. 2003 he was in charge as the art director and furthermore head of the concert of the “Camerata Instrumentale”. From 2003 to 2006 he was in charge of the Philharmony 2000 in Potsdam and from 2004 to 2006 vice concert master of the Prussian Chamber Orchestra. Since 2006 V. Korobov is head of concert and soloist of the Berlin Residence Orchestra. |
