Dinner and Christmas Concert

Charlottenburg Palace, the sumptuous Baroque summer residence of Prussian kings, has revolved around artistic creativity and artistic delight since its early days. Our Christmas concert series taking place at the Grand Orangery at Charlottenburg Palace on December 24 at 4:00 p.m. and on 8:30 p.m. from December 25 to 28, gives locals and tourists the opportunity of experiencing the era of Baroque in Berlin. The Berlin Residence Orchestra has been formed exclusively for the concert series at Charlottenburg Palace. The program includes an exclusive selection of musical highlights from the 17th and 18th centuries: works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and special Christmas compositions by different composers. All members of the orchestra as well as staff members are dressed in historic costumes, recreating the magic of times past.

Program

Prior to the concert, you will enjoy an exclusive Christmas menu (December 25 to 28), served at the Orangery's west wing by the light of 500 candles. Dinner is followed by a concert of the Berlin Palace Orchestra featuring masterpieces by Johann Strauss and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well as Christmas compositions created by various composers, presented in the unique setting of the Grand Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace.

Please pick up your concert tickets as well as your dinner voucher at our office located at the Small Orangery ("Kleine Orangerie") at Charlottenburg Palace. You also have the option of retrieving your tickets the day of the concert at the Grand Orangery from 3:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. onwards. Our office is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed Sundays.

We will of course serve a vegetarian dish upon request! Please request it when booking the package.
